Land Held for a Soil Conservation Reserve Declared to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948 in the Tasman District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 20 (4) of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 on the 14th day after the date of publication of the Proclamation in the Gazette.

All that parcel of land containing 1.3355 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 5748, situated in Block V, Waimea Survey District and being all of the land comprised in certificate of title 10A/378, Nelson Land Registry.

Transit New Zealand Act 1989
Revoking State Highway and Declaring Road to be State Highway
Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked, and that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State highway within the meaning and for the purposes of the Transit New Zealand Act.
First Schedule
All that portion of S.H. 77, being Havelock Street from the (S.H. 1) West Street intersection at RP 0/0.00, to the Alfred Forest Road intersection at RP 0/0.96.
Second Schedule
No. 77 State Highway
All those sections of road being Moore Street from the (S.H. 1) West Street intersection to River Terrace, River Terrace from Moore Street to Short Street, and Short Street from River Terrace to Alfred Forest Road (S.H. 77).

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on Part of State Highway 1—Johns Road and Russley Road, Christchurch
Pursuant to section 61 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1987 and section 72 (1) (j) of the Transport Act 1962, Transit New Zealand makes the following bylaw.
Bylaw
-
This bylaw may be cited as Transit New Zealand Bylaw 1992/2.
-
This bylaw shall come into effect immediately.
-
In this bylaw “motor vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in section 2 (1) of the Transport Act, 1962.
-
No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 80 kilometres an hour from a point measured westerly, 220 metres from Connemara Drive to Harewood Road and; Johns Road from a point measured south-westerly, 20 metres from Ryans Road to Harewood Road.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable upon summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $500.
This bylaw was made under delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
