Lake Taupo Regulations 1976

Lake Taupo: Area Reserved for Racing Notice 1992

Pursuant to regulation 25 of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Harbourmaster, Lake Taupo, hereby makes the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Lake Taupo: Area Reserved for Racing Notice 1992.

  2. This notice shall have effect between 1230 and 1530 hours on 8 February 1992.

  3. The area described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby reserved for racing by power boats.

  4. No other class of vessel shall enter the reserved area unless they are vessels operated by Lake Taupo wardens, the Harbourmaster’s vessel, coastguard vessels, official vessels of the Lake Taupo Yacht Club or sight-seeing commercial vessels having the prior approval of the Harbourmaster.

Schedule

All that area of Lake Taupo known as Tapuaeharuru and Five Mile Bays within a course to be marked by anchored approved vessels flying large pink flags.
