Advertising Rates
The following rates for the insertion of material in the Principal Edition of the New Zealand Gazette apply as from 1 July 1991:
Category 1
Single column notices, e.g.: Notices under the Transport Act, Public Works Act — 55c per word.
Category 2
Notices in table form or taking up two columns across the page, e.g.: Regulation Summaries, notices under the Medicines Act — 60c per word.
The appropriate rate to be applied to an advertisement will be determined at the time of setting up the notice for publication. Customers will be invoiced in accordance with standard commercial practices. Advertising rates are not negotiable.
All rates shown are inclusive of G.S.T.

Pursuant to section 19A of the Animals Protection Act 1960 and on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I hereby approve the adoption by Sovereign Feeds Limited of the University of Waikato the approved code of ethical conduct of the University of Waikato.

Her Majesty the Queen has been pleased to approve the grant of the Battle Honour “South Vietnam 1967-70” to the 1st Battalion, The Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.

The following are appointed to commissions in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster, with seniority from 28 February 1989 and effect from the date shown:

Warrant Officer Class II Christopher Lawrence, Royal N.Z. Infantry Regiment, 1 July 1991.
