Advertisement of Application for Winding Up of a Company by the Court

Take notice that on the 26th day of February 1991, an application for the winding up of Taupo Marine Brokers Limited by the High Court was filed in the High Court at Rotorua.

The application is to be heard before the High Court at Rotorua on the 6th day of June 1991 at 10 a.m.

Any person, other than the defendant company, who wishes to appear on the hearing of the application must file an appearance not later than the second working day before that day.

The applicant is Boating News New Zealand Limited, whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs Yolland Romaniuk & Gubb, Solicitors, Clonbern Chambers, 3 Clonbern Road, Remuera.

Further particulars may be obtained from the office of the Court or from the applicant or the applicant’s solicitor.

Notice is hereby given that by a duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 2nd day of May 1991, the following matters were included in the extraordinary resolution passed by the company:

  1. That as a result of realisations, reconstruction and changes to the insurance group of which the company forms part, the company’s basic functions have been lost and there is no good purpose in continuing to operate.

  2. That the company therefore go into a members voluntary liquidation as a due inquiry satisfies the directors and shareholders that the company is solvent and will be able to realise its assets and satisfy its unsecured and secured creditors within 6 months of winding up.

  3. That Graham B. Quinn be appointed liquidator to the company.
