Pursuant to Section 346 (1) of the Companies Act 1955

Notice is hereby given that on the 1st day of May 1991, AMP Perpetual Trustee Company NZ Ltd., appointed Messrs Paul Richard Preston and John Anthony Waller of Auckland, Bruce McCallum of Wellington and Peter George Steel of Christchurch, all chartered accountants, as receivers and managers of the property of Smiths City Group Ltd. and its charging subsidiaries listed above under the power contained in a debenture trust deed, dated the 17th day of April 1985 given by that company.

The offices of the receivers and managers are at the offices of Messrs Price Waterhouse, Chartered Accountants, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
