Decoy Limit: No limit
Special Conditions

No person shall use or cause to be used on any water within the region for the hunting or killing of game, any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, loo or maimai, except within a distance of 10 metres from the water margin in non-tidal waters, or from the low water mark in tidal waters, or from the outside edge of the raupo growth where raupo abounds.

It shall be an offence for any person to leave on the hunting ground the bodies or parts of bodies of black swan or other game shot in the Otago Fish and Game Region.

Shooting from a boat is prohibited on the Clutha River downstream of the Balclutha Bridge during the month of May 1991 incl.
-
Chukar hunting is prohibited in the area of the Taiere Bridge, Waihemo County and Silverpeaks County north and east of the railway line from Mosgiel to Hyde.

Area A: Paradise Shelduck (4 May - 30 June 1991) and Canada Goose (1 July - 1 December 1991 and 1 February - 29 March 1992) hunting is permitted only in all that land in the Southland Fish and Game Region north of State Highway 1, between Mataura, Gore and Pukerau and North of State Highway 96 between Mataura, Winton and Wreys Bush and West of and including the Aparima catchment.

Pursuant to regulations 5 and 13 of the Wildlife Regulations 1955, the Minister of Conservation hereby approves the licence fees set and payable in respect of each class of game licence and the conditions attached thereto.
