Traffic Regulations 1976
Approval of Motorcycle Safety Helmets in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976
Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to section 41(1) of the State Sector Act 1988, motorcycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 31 of the said regulations.
Schedule
(1) Safety Helmets manufactured by Fabbrica Elmetti Prottivi, Italy complying with E.C.E. Regulation 22, with the following type designations and bearing the mark of homologation:
Caberg 385, 385/E RMX E6 035652-
all with required serial numbers.
(2) Safety helmets manufactured by Cross SA, Belgium complying with E.C.E. Regulation 22, with the following type designations and bearing the marks of homologation:

Lazer MX3-S, MX3-R E6 034044-
Lazer MX4 Enduro, MX4 Pro E6 030488-
all with required serial numbers.

Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986
Approval of Motorcycle Driving Course
Pursuant to section 48 (2) (b) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986; and
Under the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument of delegation dated the 31st day of August 1990; I, Warren Richard Gillespie Simeon, Controller Road User Standards, hereby approve the following courses of motorcycle instruction:
The course of Basic Motorcycle Instruction for the purposes of regulation 27 (1) (c) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987;
The course of Core Motorcycle Instruction for the purposes of regulation 30 (5) of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987;
The course of Advanced Motorcycle Instruction for the purposes of regulation 32 of the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987;
to be conducted by the following approved school of instruction:
Ministry of Transport, Land Transport Division, Commercial Services, Palmerston North; under the direction of Sean Rooney.
