Local Government Act 1974

Road Closed and Declared to be Crown Land in Whirinaki Survey District

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington, declares that the road in the Schedule hereto has ceased to be road and shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Public Works Act 1981

Easements over Land Acquired for the Disposal of Sewage in Wanganui District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the easements described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, are hereby acquired for the disposal of sewage and shall enure as easements in gross in favour of The Wanganui District Council (called “the grantee”) on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Sewage Drainage

The “right to drain sewage” as such expression is defined in the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952 over those pieces of land situated in the District of Wanganui, described as follows:

Parts Lot 1, D.P. 822; marked respectively “B” and “C” on plan.

Part Lot 1, D.P. 822, and part Lot J, Right Bank Wanganui River; marked “A” on plan.

As shown marked as above mentioned on Deposited Plan 65955.

Second Schedule

Telephone and Power Easements

The full, free, uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty and privilege for the grantee, its servants, agents and contractors, from time to time to lay, place, maintain and use underground telephone and power cables, together with the additional rights set out in clause 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952, under, over and through those pieces of land situated in the District of Wanganui, described as follows:

Parts Lot 1, D.P. 822; marked respectively “B” and “D” on Deposited Plan 65955.

Land Acquired for the Generation of Hydro Electric Power and Vested, Marlborough District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Blenheim, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the generation of hydro electric power and vested in The Marlborough Electric Power Board on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
