(11) Interchangeable tools, e.g., tool bits, saw blades, grinding wheels

(15) Knives and cutting blades
(16) Engines
(17) Transmission shafts – flexible

REQUESTED APPROVAL

Catalogued parts of machines may be admitted under the Part II duty concession granted in respect of the parent machine. Catalogued parts of machines which in their own right are entitled to duty free entry under Part I of the Tariff are also covered by this concession. This applies regardless of Tariff classification with the following exceptions:

1926–1999 (Crown Copyright): Issues from this period remain subject to Crown copyright. Usage of these issues in this project is "Fair Dealing" for research purposes and consistent with NZGOAL's open-access principles, which encourage CC-BY licensing for Crown material where possible.
2000–Present (CC-BY 3.0 NZ): Gazette issues published on gazette.govt.nz are Crown copyright but are licensed by DIA under Creative Commons CC-BY 3.0. This project redistributes these issues in accordance with those terms.

Numerous missing issues of the Gazette and Provincial Gazettes (including the entirety of the Nelson Provincial Gazette) were digitised by volunteers Luke and Carole using volumes available at the National Library and Te Matapihi (Wellington Central Library). The resulting PDFs are released into the public domain.
