Civil Aviation Act 1990
Notification of Ordinary Rule
Pursuant to section 34 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given of the ordinary rule set out in the Schedule hereto.

Civil Aviation Rules Part 145: CertificationโAircraft Maintenance Organisations
Which ordinary rule shall come into force on the 16th day of January 1992.
This ordinary rule is available for inspection and purchase at the head office of the Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, 1 Market Grove (P.O. Box 31-441), Lower Hutt.
Traffic Regulations 1976
LPG Fuel System Approval
Pursuant to regulation 90B of the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7)* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Hugh Cameron Matheson, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the components listed in the First Schedule hereto for inclusion in any LPG automotive fuel system installed and operated in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 1, 1987 subject to the conditions of approval set out in this notice.
I hereby revoke the Gazette notice referred to in the Second Schedule hereto.

This approval only covers containers manufactured in accordance with Pressure Container Industry Corporation's drawing No X2D-569 dated 11 September 1991.
Conditions of Approval
These LPG Fuel Containers are approved subject to the following conditions:

That they be permanently and clearly marked, on a suitable attached metal plate, with characters not less than 6 mm high if space permits but in any case not less than 3 mm high, displaying the following information:
(a) The specification to which the container was manufactured.
(b) The manufacturer's name or mark and the serial number of the container.
(c) The date of the original container inspection and the identification mark of the inspection authority which carried out the inspection.
(d) The date of any periodic container test and the identification mark of the cylinder testing station which carried out the test.
(e) The container test pressure.
(f) The nominal water capacity of the container.
(g) The tare weight of the container. -
That they be clearly marked or labelled to indicated that the container is suitable for use with LPG.

That the container surface coating and colour be in accordance with the requirements of section 2.1.5 (container surface treatment) of the latest amendment to New Zealand Standard NZS 5422:1987 Part 1 LPG Fuel.

That they be provided with valve threads and fittings which provide the following functions:
(a) Filling connection incorporating a non return valve.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947
Notice of Application for the Renewal of an International Air Service Licence
Pursuant to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that American Airlines, Inc has applied for the renewal of its international air service licence to operate air services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between the United States of America and New Zealand from 21 January 1992, and that it is proposed that renewal be granted until 3 March 1992. Further details of this application may be obtained from the Acting General Manager, Air Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt.
Any person or organisation desiring to make representations relating to this application, must forward those representations in writing to reach me on or before 10 January 1992.
