The Traffic (Tauranga District) Notice No. 1, 1991
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga District) Notice No. 1, 1991.
The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
So much of the Traffic (Tauranga City and Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1986, signed on the 18th day of November 1986*, and so much of the Traffic (Mount Maunganui Borough) Notice No. 1, 1989, signed on the 20th day of April 1989†, which relate to the roads in the Schedule below issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, are revoked.
Schedule
Situated within Tauranga District at Te Maunga:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the northern end of the Hairini Bridge to a point 100 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from the southern confluence of the said State highway with the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piropito); and from a point 350 metres measured south-westerly, generally along the said State highway from Maunganui Road to a point 200 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Maunganui Road.
No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piropito): from Te Maunga Road to the western end of the said State highway.

The Traffic (North Shore City) Notice No. 1, 1991
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (North Shore City) Notice No. 1, 1991.
The road specified in the First Schedule is excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
So much of the Traffic (North Shore City) Notice No. 1, 1990, signed on the 23rd day of October 1990*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relate to roads in the Schedules below, is revoked.

Approval of Motorcycle Safety Helmets
Pursuant to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976† and pursuant to powers delegated to me by section 41 (1) of the State Sector Act 1988, motorcycle safety helmets of the type described in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 31 of the said regulations.
Schedule
Any safety helmet certified as complying with regulation 22/ of the Economic Commission for Europe by homologation documents issued by a party to the 1958 Geneva Agreement on approval and reciprocal recognition of approval, and bearing the approval label and serial number authorised by the approval authority of the said party.
