The Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice No. 1, 1991

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaipara District) Notice No. 1, 1991.

The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 5, 1969, dated on the 24th day of November 1969*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Kaipara District at Pahi:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of Pahi Road 300 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from Graham Street; thence across the said road at right angles from its western side to its eastern side; thence due east to the Pahi River Coast; thence southerly, westerly and northerly, generally, along the said coast to a point due west of the commencing point; thence to the commencing point.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Controller Road and Traffic Standards, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City and Selwyn District) Notice No. 1, 1991.

The area and roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule are excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

First Schedule

Situated within Christchurch City at Belfast:

All roads, except those specified in the other Schedules to this notice, within an area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) 120 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Dickeys Road; thence across the said State highway at right angles from its western side to its eastern side, thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the north-western side of Main North Road 100 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Main North Road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence across Main North Road at right angles from its north-western side to its south-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of Factory Road 300 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Factory Road from Guthries Road; thence across Factory Road at right angles from its north-eastern side to its south-western side; thence south-westerly, generally, by a right line to the northern end of Blakes Road; thence southerly, generally, along the western side of Blakes Road across Belfast Road, Thompsons Road and Radcliffe Road to the southern side of Radcliffe Road; thence westerly, generally, along the southern side of Radcliffe Road and along the prolongation of that roadside across the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the western side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to the western end of Englefield Road; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Johns Road 220 metres measured westerly, generally, along Johns Road from Connemara Drive; thence across Johns Road at right angles from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the western end of
