TARIFF CONCESSION APPROVALS, WITHDRAWALS AND DECLINES NOTICE (NO. 30) 1991

I, Vincent Anthony Manks, Executive Officer, Ministry of Commerce, acting pursuant to section 8 of the Tariff Act 1988 under delegated authority hereby:

(a) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the First Schedule to this notice the rates of duty or exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified; and

(b) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Second Schedule to this notice the exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified subject however to such purposes and conditions which I prescribe; and

(c) Withdraw with effect fourteen days from the date of this notice the approvals granted in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Third Schedule to this notice; and

(d) Decline to approve in respect of the goods listed in the Fourth Schedule to this notice concessions for which application was made.

Three strand (excluding core) conventional of 1.5mm to 38mm diameter, inclusive; compacted of 3.0mm to 32mm diameter, inclusive
Four strand (excluding core) conventional of 2.0mm to 35mm diameter, inclusive; compacted of 9.0mm to 35mm diameter, inclusive
Six strand (excluding core) conventional of 1.5mm to 56mm diameter, inclusive; compacted of 9.0mm to 44mm diameter. NB: Including ropes 7mm diameter and less, described as 7 x 7, or 7 x 19, having a central main core of the same construction as the 6 outer rope strands
Eight strand (excluding core) conventional of 1.5mm to 22mm diameter, inclusive; compacted of 9.0mm to 22.0mm diameter, inclusive
Conventional, or compacted multi-strand crane ropes up to and including 18 principal strands (excluding core) of 8.0mm to 26mm diameter, inclusive
