Parent Support Using Toughlove (in liquidation)

Notice of Final Meeting

Pursuant to the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Notice is hereby given that the final meeting of the trust board of Parent Support Using Toughlove (in liquidation) will be held at Eastbourne on the 16th day of August 1991, at 28 Kotari Road, at 9.30 a.m.

Business:

  1. To have an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the trust has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation from the liquidator.

  2. To consider and if thought fit, to pass the following resolution:

"That for the purposes of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 the books and papers of the trust be retained in the custody of the liquidator for the period required by law, and thereafter disposed of by the liquidator in such manner as the liquidator considers fit."

In the matter of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the will of the late Helen Grace Niven of Levin, accountant, and in the matter of an application to approve a scheme for disposition of income by Presbyterian Support Services (Central) and The Wellington Masonic Association, both charitable trusts under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957:

Notice is hereby given that Presbyterian Support Services (Central) and The Wellington Masonic Association (referred to as β€œthe charities”) have filed in the High Court at Wellington an application for approval of a scheme. The proposed scheme extends the purposes for which income can be applied by the charities under the will trusts of the late Helen Grace Niven who died in 1982.

Copies of the scheme and the report on it by the Attorney-General may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington or at the offices of the solicitors to the charities, who are the firm of Gibson Sheat, Gibson Sheat Centre, 1 Margaret Street, Lower Hutt.

The application has been set down for hearing in the High Court at Wellington on Tuesday, the 20th day of August 1991. Any person who wishes to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of intention to do so to the Registrar, and to the charities at the above address for service, and to the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before that date.

Advertisement of Dissolution

Notice is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies and Credit Unions will, pursuant to section 94 of the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982, register an instrument of dissolution of the Te Kuiti Credit Union, unless within 3 months from the date of this Gazette in which this advertisement appears, a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the Te Kuiti Credit Union commences proceedings to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.
