  1. Election of 4 Producer Members—I hereby give notice that an election will be held to elect the above 4 members as prescribed in the amended regulations on the 31st day of October 1991, as prescribed by the New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board Regulations.

The electoral roll of producers will be available for inspection during normal office hours from Monday, the 5th day of August 1991 to Monday, the 12th day of August 1991, at the following places: Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries offices in Hamilton, Palmerston North, Whakatane, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Levin and Motueka; the Post Offices of Te Puke (Jellicoe Street) and Takaka; New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Kerikeri, Katikati, Te Puke, Gisborne, Hastings, Nelson and the New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation in Wellington.

  1. Nominations of Candidates for Election—Nominations open on Monday, the 19th day of August 1991 and close at 12 noon, Monday, the 2nd day of September 1991. Please reply to the Returning Officer, New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board, P.O. Box 9906, Auckland.

The regulations provide that:

"No person shall be eligible for election as a producers’ representative unless:

(a) The person’s name is entered on the roll;

(b) The person has been nominated in writing by 2 or more producers whose names appear on the roll as producers of at least 5000 trays each for export in the season prior to the election;

(c) The person has, by writing in the prescribed form or by letter, telegram, telex or facsimile transmission, to the Returning Officer, accepted nomination;

(d) And has, within 7 days of accepting nomination, paid to the Returning Officer a deposit of $112.50 ($100 deposit plus $12.50 GST)."

Reserves Act 1977

Dedication of a Reserve for Local Purpose (Road) as a Road

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Manager of Protection and Use for the Tongariro/Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby dedicates the reserve, for local purpose (road) described in the Schedule hereto, as a road.

South Auckland Land District—Taupo City

271 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P.S. 12698, situated in Block I, Waitahanui Survey District. Part certificate of title 7C/706.

Dated at Turangi this 16th day of July 1991.

Classification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (drainage) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilized

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Hamilton City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
