Land Acquired for State Highway 5, Tarawera District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for road, and pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 5 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the Gazette.

569 square metres being part Tarawera C8, shown marked “A” on S.O. 10123, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Revoking a Notice Acquiring Land for a Wildlife Management Reserve in Hastings District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, hereby revokes the notice dated the 3rd day of September 1990, published in New Zealand Gazette of 6 September 1990, No. 154, page 2387, No. 9832, under the heading “land acquired for a wildlife management reserve.”

Land Set Apart for Forestry Purposes in Taupo District

Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for forestry purposes, and to remain vested in the Crown.

Wellington Land District—Taupo District

All those pieces of land described as follows:

Land Acquired for Road, Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Severed by Road in Blocks IX, XII and XIII, Waikaka Survey District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 (1), declares that agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Gore District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road and shall vest in The Gore District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares those portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto, to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The portion of road firstly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 21/158, subject to existing encumbrances.

(ii) The portion of road secondly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 9C/490, subject to existing encumbrances.

(iii) The portion of road thirdly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 71/43, subject to existing encumbrances.

(iv) The portion of road fourthly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 33/41, subject to existing encumbrances.

(v) The portion of road fifthly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 132/229, subject to existing encumbrances.

(vi) The portion of road sixthly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 7B/596, subject to existing encumbrances.

(d) Pursuant to section 119 of the Public Works Act 1981, declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, to be taken, and declares that:

(i) The land firstly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 21/158, subject to existing encumbrances.

(ii) The land secondly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 9C/490, subject to existing encumbrances.

(iii) The land thirdly described, be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 71/43, subject to existing encumbrances.
