Road Realignment (State Highway No. 5) in South Waikato District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the pieces of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and that:

(i) Area “C”, secondly described, now known as Section 2, S.O. 58228, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 47C/856, subject to memorandum of lease H. 773887, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) Area “C”, fifthly described, now known as Section 1, S.O. 56885, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 34C/167, subject to memorandum of lease H. 773887, South Auckland Land Registry.

(iii) Area “B”, “E” and “G”, firstly, thirdly and fourthly described now known as Section 1, S.O. 58228, and Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 58229 respectively, shall be added to the adjoining land held for a State forest park as part of the Kaimai-Mamaku State Forest Park, held in Gazette notice H. 995174.1, South Auckland Land Registry.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Western Bay of Plenty District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981 and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Bay of Plenty Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
