Declaring Railway Land on the Kingston Branch Railway Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Declared Crown Land

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, and section 27 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Restructuring Act 1990, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be declared Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Land at Barnetts Road Acquired for Road

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 1, and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

Amending a Notice Acquiring Land and Easement for the Generation of Electricity in Taupo District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, hereby amends the notice dated the 3rd day of January 1991, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 10 January 1991, No. 1, at page 12, declaring land and easement to be acquired for the generation of electricity, as amended by a notice dated the 18th day of January 1991, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 31 January 1991, No. 17, at page 338, by adding to the Second Schedule thereof after the figures “1952” the following:

“.. subject to the terms and conditions of certain agreements dated the 18th day of September 1990, made between the trustees for the owners of part Rangipo North 3C, part Rangipo North 4C, and part Rangipo North 6C as grantors and Her Majesty the Queen as grantee, copies of which agreements are held at the office of the Department of Survey and Land Information, 246 St Hill Street, Wanganui, ”.
