District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:

Philip Anthony Moran, barrister and solicitor of Wanganui, to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand, on and from 21 May 1990.

Take notice that the Tribunal will consider the publications named in the Schedule attached hereto at a sitting to commence at 11 a.m., on Thursday, 28 June in the No. 4 Boardroom, First Floor, Databank House, 175 The Terrace, Wellington.

The parties concerned with these matters are advised that oral and/or submissions in support or otherwise may be presented at this sitting. Six copies of any written submissions tendered should be made available to the Tribunal 5 days prior to the hearing.

Applicants are also advised that advertising directions must be complied with, with proof of same forwarded to me prior to the above date.
