Notice of Intention to Take Land Between Harewood Road and Hacks Road, Christchurch for Airport Purposes
Notice is hereby given that Christchurch International Airport Limited under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, intends to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for airport purposes to be used for a C. A. D. Rescue Fire Training Area and future airport development.
The taking is considered reasonably necessary for the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive land use plan within the airport zone.
Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days after the date of this notice send an objection to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.
Schedule
Canterbury Land District
All that land containing 2.1911 hectares or thereabouts, being unformed road, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District; being part of Deeds Index C2782 (75D/911); and
All that land containing 1012 square metres or thereabouts situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District; being Lot 86 on Deposited Plan 334; and
As shown on S.O. Plan 15593, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch.
A copy of the plan may be inspected at the offices of Messrs: Buddle Findlay, Solicitors, Level 13, Clarendon Tower, 78 Worcester Street, Christchurch.
The land to be taken is unformed road and one adjoining vacant property, situated at Christchurch International Airport.
Dated at Christchurch this 18th day of January 1990.
