Land Taken for Road, Land Taken as Severance and Road Stopped in Block XI, New River Hundred

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Lands, Invercargill:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Southland District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be taken and when so taken be amalgamated as follows:

(1) The land firstly described be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 131, folio 169, subject to existing encumbrances.

(2) The land secondly described be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title, Volume 131, folio 171, subject to existing encumbrances.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 (3) (b), declares the road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and be amalgamated with the land in the Second Schedule hereto.
