Tariff Act 1988
TARIFF CONCESSION APPROVALS, WITHDRAWALS AND DECLINES NOTICE (NO. 15) 1990
- Michael Richard Turner, Concessions Supervising Officer, Ministry of Commerce, acting pursuant to section 8 of the Tariff Act 1988 under delegated authority hereby:
(a) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the First Schedule to this notice the rates of duty or exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified; and
(b) In accordance with Part II of the Tariff approve in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Second Schedule to this notice the exemptions from duty specified in that Schedule with effect from the first day of the month so specified subject however to such purposes and conditions which I prescribe; and
(c) Withdraw with effect fourteen days from the date of this notice the approvals granted in respect of the entry of goods listed in the Third Schedule to this notice; and
(d) Decline to approve in respect of the goods listed in the Fourth Schedule to this notice concessions for which application was made.

(7) Dualfoam hydraulic press with facility to cast its own tools models 8E, 6, 7, 8 and 9
(8) Machinery, peculiar for use in making and repairing exhaust systems and other products made from metal tubing; not exceeding the following capacity:
swaging, 109mm-76mm;
expanding, 25mm-76mm;
bending, 109mm-76mm; and
forming bends of 60mm-140mm radii
EXCLUDING:
numerically controlled machine tools
(9) Metal circular saws hand operated with blades not exceeding 1016mm diameter excluding types specially suited for cutting precious metals

(b) Reinforced steel bar cropping machines, with capacity exceeding 20mm

(11) Metal hacksaws with a rated square material cutting capacity of which any one measurement is 280mm or less, excluding automatically controlled hacksaws
(12) Plate rolls (other than those having a top roll diameter of 255mm and lower roll diameter of 195mm) and press brakes (including coil cradle straighteners)
(13) Presses, hydraulic
(14) Presses, mechanical, power operated and other, exceeding 30.5 tonnes but not exceeding 35 tonnes capacity
(15) Presses, mechanical, power operated and other, not exceeding 30.5 tonnes capacity
(16) Punch, crop and rivet presses, not exceeding 3.05 tonnes capacity
(17) Rod reinforcing steel cutters, not exceeding 20mm mild steel capacity
(18) Roll forming machines, including continuous spouting and continuous ridgeting machines
(19) Shearing, punching and notching machines, hand and hydraulically operated
(20) Sheet metal folding machines
