Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Revocation of Notices Imposing Dumping Duty in Respect of Certain Aluminium Foil Imported from Australia
In accordance with section 19 (3) (b) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 and pursuant to section 186A (9) of Part VA of the Customs Act 1966 (as inserted by section 11 of the Customs Acts Amendment Act (No. 2) 1983), the Minister of Commerce gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title—(1) This notice may be cited as Revocation of Notices Imposing Dumping Duty in respect of Certain Aluminium Foil from Australia.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date on which it is published in the Gazette.
-
Revocation of Notices of Imposition of Dumping Duty—(1) The two notices given by the Minister of Customs both entitled “Imposition of Dumping Duty” and both dated 13 May 1987 and published in the Gazette of 21 May 1987 (the principal notices) are hereby revoked and the dumping duty imposed by the principal notices shall cease to be payable.
-
Reason for Revocation—The reason for the revocation of the principal notices is that the Minister of Commerce has formed the opinion that the importation into New Zealand from Australia of the aluminium foil described in the principal notices no longer causes or is likely to cause material injury to an industry in New Zealand.
Dated at Wellington this 23rd day of March 1990.
D. BUTCHER, Minister of Commerce.
