Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a recreation area for the common use and benefit of the owners of the said land.

Public Works Act 1981

Road Realignment in Wairoa District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager/Chief Surveyor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for road, which pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, forms part of State Highway No. 2 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the Gazette.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land at Broadfields Acquired for Education Purposes

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Chief Surveyor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice dated the 11th day of December 1989 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 11th day of January 1990, No. 1 at page 23 declaring land at Broadfields acquired for Education purposes by omitting the following word from the first line of the Schedule:

“balance”

and substituting the following word

“part”;

and also, by omitting the following words from the second line of the Schedule

“certificate of title No. 5B/1370”

and substituting the following words

“part certificates of title No. 5B/1370 and No. 366/9”

“subject”

and substituting the following word

“appurtenant”
