15 PERCENT OF BASICS TENDER SCHEME
These goods are a continuation of the 15 percent of basics tendering provision and represent the only remaining goods in this scheme with the exception of a ceramic item Code. As this Item Code is being tendered under the Ceramic Industry Development Plan above, the amount due for tender under this scheme has been added to the amount being tendered under the Industry Plan. The Item Code and amount are: 69.030, 72 units.
Import licences won in this tender round are not themselves basic licences and will carry no right of automatic reissue under the provisions for basic licence. The provision for tender continuity licences (50 percent of the licence value after 12 months, once only) will apply in the normal manner.

Under the Footwear Industry Development Plan, Childrens Footwear of Item Code 64.005 will be exempt import licensing control from 1 July 1990. No refunds will be made on unused balances for tender No. 6745.
