Explanatory Note

The First Schedule to this notice amends the statistical units of goods in the statistical keys specified in that Schedule.
The Second Schedule to this notice splits the statistical keys represented by the Tariff items and codes specified in that Schedule into more specific statistical keys and to enable the identification of importations of aerosol cans containing chlorofluorocarbons.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.

The following Officer Cadets graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and are appointed to commissions in order and Corps shown in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 13 December 1989 and effect from:
