Local Authorities Loans Act 1956

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loan Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of electors of the Waikino Urban Water Supply Area taken on 20 December 1989 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $210,000 to be known as the Waikino Urban Water Supply Loan 1989, for the purpose of upgrading the trunk water main and treatment of water for the Waikino township area resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 44
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 47
The number of informal votes was 1

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

Election of Producers’ Representative Wards No. 2 and 3—Roll of Eligible Electors

Notice is hereby given that a copy of the rolls of pig producers eligible to vote in the forthcoming election for one producer member to representative Ward No. 2 and 3 on the Pork Industry Board will be available for inspection at the following places:

(1) Head Office, Pork Industry Board, Level 11, Dalmuir House, 114 The Terrace, Wellington.
(2) Head Office, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Wellington.
(3) District Offices, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Hamilton, Tauranga, Hawera and Masterton.
(4) Pork Industry Board, Pigtech Office, Old West Road, Palmerston North.

The rolls will be available for inspection from 1 March to 27 April 1990.
