I have much pleasure in receiving the address adopted by the House of Representatives on the occasion of my period of residence in this realm during the New Zealand 1990 Commemoration. I am most appreciative of the sentiments expressed.

The Duke of Edinburgh and I are very happy to be here at this time of celebration and renewed commitment, and have enjoyed being among the people of New Zealand.

I am grateful for your expressions of loyalty, and for the kind references to members of my family associated with the important events in New Zealand this year.

May every success attend your endeavours for the best interests of New Zealand in the years ahead.

Ministry of Commerce Radio Frequency Tendering: UHF Tender

The following notice is a list of provisional successful tenderers who tendered under the call for tenders in respect of ultra high frequencies (UHF) issued on 21 December 1989.

Confirmation will follow any necessary clearances or authorisations under the Commerce Act 1986, where applicable, and payment in settlement by the tenderers concerned.

Final results for lots will be published in detail in the New Zealand Gazette as soon as practicable.
