General Notices

In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the France Trust Scheme:

Take notice that on Monday, the 2nd day of April 1990 at 10 a.m. the trustees of the France Trust Scheme will apply to the High Court at Napier for orders approving a scheme varying the provisions of the France Trust and appointing a new trustee.

The trustees seek to vary the provisions of the France Trust by:

1. Restating the objects of the scheme to provide for the maintenance, advancement, support and welfare and education of the needy children and young adults living in the Hawke’s Bay region.

2. Making better provision for the investment of income and administration of the trust generally.

A copy of the proposed scheme, originating application and supporting affidavits may be inspected at the offices of Messrs Sainsbury Logan & Williams at the corner of Tennyson Street and Cathedral Lane, Napier. Please refer to S. J. Webster.

Any person desiring to approve the scheme shall give a written notice of his or her intention so to do.
