Resumption of Duties by the Governor-General
His Excellency the Governor-General announces that he returned from Japan at 11.05 a.m. on the 15th day of November and has resumed the performance of all the functions of the office of Governor-General.

Accordingly, the Right Honourable Sir Thomas Eichelbaum, G.B.E., Chief Justice of New Zealand, who assumed office as the Administrator of the Government as from 8.42 a.m. on the 10th day of November 1990 (as evidenced by a notice published in the Gazette and dated the 13th day of November 1990), has relinquished office as the Administrator of the Government. (By Command.)
