Unclaimed Moneys

Notice Under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

Pursuant to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed moneys held by him for 1990 have been filed with the Registrars of the Maori Land Court at:

Whangarei, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, Hastings, Christchurch, Wellington; also at the District Offices of the Iwi Transition Agency at Auckland and Wiri; and at the Head Office of the Iwi Transition Agency at Wellington.

Lists are also located at the sub-offices of the Iwi Transition Agency where they may be inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

District Courts Act 1947

Acting District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 10 of the District Courts Act 1947 and section 5 (1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Philip John Evans, barrister and solicitor of Wellington

to be an Acting District Court Judge to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts for a term of 12 months from 12 October 1990.
