Animals Act 1967
Approved Woolmarking Preparation Notice (No. 5057; Ag. 1310-38)
Pursuant to sections 69 and 94 of the Animals Act 1967 and after consultation with the New Zealand Wool Board, I hereby give notice that the woolmarking preparation set out in the Schedule hereto (being a product of SmithKline Beecham Animal Health Limited and licensed to SmithKline and French NZ Limited) is approved for sale and use in marking wool of sheep.
This approval takes effect on the day following the date of publication in the Gazette.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 11A (1) of the Animals Act 1967, land owned by Arthur and Shirley Galt of Brookdale Road, Albany, title No. 7D/1365, situated in the Parish of Parnell, being 4.0595 hectares, more or less, comprising Lot 1, D.P. 54851, part of Allotment 522, Ridge Road, Albany 0001, is hereby declared to be a Special Quarantine Ground for the importation of animals.

Electricity Act 1968
Proposed Hazardous Area Safety Standards
The Secretary of Commerce invites submissions on the technical aspects of the 7 Australian Hazardous Area Safety Standards listed in the Schedule to this notice.
It is proposed that the standards be inserted into New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for the Electrical Safety of Apparatus and Materials (NZECP3:1989) by amendment to the Code pursuant to Part IIIA of the Electricity Act 1968 (as inserted by section 6 of the Electricity Amendment Act 1983).
After consideration of submissions, and after the outcome of consultations with such persons as may be affected by the amendment, the Secretary intends to apply for the approval of the Minister of Energy to the resulting amendment to NZECP3:1989.
Submissions should identify the standard and the clause of the standard to which any comments relate and should be sent to the office of the Chief Electrical Inspector, Energy and Resources Division, Ministry of Commerce, P.O. Box 2337, Wellington.
Copies of the standards may be purchased from the Standards Association of New Zealand.
All submissions should be made by 31 January 1991.
