Miscellaneous Notices

8 FEBRUARY NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE 385

Dated at Wellington this 30th day of January 1990.
D. BUTCHER, Minister of Commerce.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice amends the principal notice given by the Minister of Commerce on 7 June 1989, by changing the amount of the cost difference (being the difference between cost and profit levels of the New Zealand industry and of importers of the sugar) in the formula from $NZ152 to $NZ145, and providing that the Raw Sugar Price per tonne be established at the London time of sale.

Further, anti-dumping duty is payable only where the normal value determined for each exporting country is greater than the export price of the goods. If the calculated amount exceeds the determined normal value in relation to exports from any one of the countries named, the export price will be deducted from the normal value.
