Notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 190 (3) (b) of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989, the Reserve Bank exempts Bancorp Holdings Limited from the application of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989 as from 5 October 1990.

Securities Amendment Act 1988
The Futures Contracts (Options for Quoted Securities) Notice 1990
Pursuant to section 37 (7) of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Futures Contracts (Options for Quoted Securities) Notice 1990.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires—
“The Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;
“Quoted Securities” means securities the issuer of which is listed on the Official Lists of the New Zealand Stock Exchange and in respect of which there is a right of quotation.
(2) Any term or expression which is not defined in this notice, but which is defined in the Act, shall have the meaning given to it by the Act.
- Application of Part III of Act to certain options for quoted securities—Any option to acquire or dispose of quoted securities which is offered in accordance with by-laws made by the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange is hereby declared to be an option to which Part III of the Act applies.

This notice declares that an option to acquire or dispose of quoted securities which is offered in accordance with by-laws made by the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange is an option to which Part III of the Securities Amendment Act 1988 (which relates to dealing in futures contracts) applies.

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 10 of the Standards Act 1988, notice is hereby given that the following draft Joint New Zealand/Australian Standard is being circulated:
DZ 6232 Approval and test specification—Electrical equipment for spa and swimming pools. 20 pages, $11.66 (members $7) incl. GST.
All persons who wish to comment may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington. Closing date for receipt of comment: 31 October 1990.

The Standards Act 1988—New Zealand Standards to be Revoked
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 10 of the Standards Act 1988, notice is hereby given that the following New Zealand Standards will be revoked on 31 October 1990.
NZS 198:1967 Specification for 3-pin, flat-pin plugs, plug-sockets, tap-ons, and cord extension sockets with 10-amp, 250-volt (maximum) rating.
NZS 2147:1967 2-pin flat-pin moulded-on plugs with 10-amp 250-volt (maximum) rating, for use in 3-pin sockets.
These Standards are superseded by NZS 6216:1989, NZS 6217:1989, NZS 6218:1989 and NZS 6219:1989. Notice of revocation dated 28 September 1990.
