New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981

Declaring Railway Land at Kingston to be Road

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, and section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be road and vested in the Queenstown Lakes District council.

All those pieces of land situated in Block I, Kingston Survey District described as follows:

As shown on the plans marked as above-mentioned and lodged in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington.

Local Government Act 1974

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Wairio, Wairaki, Hokonui and Taringatura Survey Districts

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Invercargill, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Southland District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

20.8650 hectares, more or less, being unformed legal road situated in Blocks II and III, Wairoa Survey District and Blocks XXVI and XXVII, Wairaki Survey District. As shown marked “A”, “B” and “C” on S.O. Plan 11592.

25.5500 hectares, more or less, being unformed legal road situated in Blocks XII and XVIII, Hokonui Survey District and Blocks XVI, XX and XXV, Taringatura Survey District. As shown marked “A” and “B” on S.O. Plan 11596.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Road (Vinegar Hill Road) Whangarei District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for road which shall vest in The Whangarei District Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land to be Road and Road Stopped in the District of Wanganui

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington, hereby amends the notice dated the 21st day of December 1989, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 January 1990, No. 1, page 21, by deleting paragraph (b) (ii) and substituting it with the following:

“(b) (ii) The area described in the Third Schedule when stopped shall become recreation reserve, and be added to the recreation reserve described in the Fourth Schedule.”
