Conservation Act 1987

Declaration that a Conservation Area Shall be a Reserve and Classification of Reserve for Scenic Purposes

Pursuant to the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares the conservation area, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a reserve under the Reserves Act 1977, and to have a classification for scenic purposes, subject to section 19 (1) (a) of that Act.

Declaration that a Conservation Area Shall be a Reserve and Classification of Reserve and Appointment of a Minister of the Crown to Control and Manage

Pursuant to the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares the conservation area, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a reserve under the Reserves Act 1977, and to have a classification for scientific reserve under that Act, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, appoints the Minister of Science to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the provisions of that Act.

Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby authorises the exchange of the reserve, described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

First Schedule

Canterbury Land District—Selwyn District

2.0234 hectares, more or less, being Reserve 1043, situated in Block IV, Selwyn Survey District. Gravel pit by Canterbury Gazette 1879, page 826. S.O. Plan 2370.

Second Schedule

Canterbury Land District—Selwyn District

2.4227 hectares, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 54850, situated in Block I, Leeston Survey District. Part certificate of title 20B/1113.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of section 18 of the said Act, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Donovans Store Historic Reserve.
