Notice to Debenture Stockholders

On the 8th day of October 1990, an application will be made to the Supreme Court of New South Wales for the appointment of representatives to act on behalf of stockholders of Equiticorp Financial Services (in liquidation) (receiver and manager appointed) (EFSL), in proceedings for the administration of EFSL’s trust deed.

This is a different company from the company bearing the same name and incorporated in New Zealand. These proceedings will have nothing to do with that New Zealand company.

The proceedings have been brought by National Mutual Life Nominees Ltd., the trustee appointed under EFSL’s trust deed and by M. R. Brown, the receiver and manager of EFSL.

The outcome of the proceedings may affect the interests and payment entitlements of stockholders. A letter dated 12 September 1990 explaining the proceedings has been sent by the trustee to all known stockholders at their last address held by EFSL or the receiver and manager.

If you are a stockholder and you have not received a letter, or you require further information about the proceedings, telephone the receiver and manager, M. R. Brown as soon as possible.
