The Standards Act 1988—Draft Join New Zealand/Australian Standard Available for Comment
Pursuant to sub-section (3) of section 10 of the Standards Act 1988, notice is hereby given that the following draft Joint New Zealand/Australian Standard is being circulated.
DZ 6126 Disturbances in mains supply networks
Part 1: Limitation of harmonics caused by household and similar electrical appliances.
Part 2: Limitation of harmonics caused by industrial equipment.
Part 3: Limitation of voltage fluctuations caused by household and similar electrical appliances.
Part 4: Limitation of voltage fluctuations caused by industrial equipment.
Price: $23.20 (members $13.92) incl GST.
A proposed Joint Standard prepared by the Standards Association of Australia EL/34 Standards Committee. Also contains a note from the Chief Electrical Inspector, Ministry of Commerce, detailing proposed methods of implementing the Standard in New Zealand, and seeking comment on the proposal.
Any persons who wish to comment may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington. Closing date for receipt of comment: 12 October 1990.
