Reserves Act 1977

Appointment of the Wellington Regional Council to Control and Manage Queen Elizabeth Park

Pursuant to section 28 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Conservation hereby appoints the Wellington Regional Council to control and manage the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Schedule

Wellington Land District—Kapiti Coast District—Queen Elizabeth Park

638.4270 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 34143, Sections 99 and 100 and part Sections 2 and 3, Block II, Paekakariki Survey District. All certificate of title 987/6. S.O. Plans 23214, 24783 and 24175.

Subject to lease 942691 and gas pipeline easements created by documents 9158443.1 and 943049.1.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Manager Protection Division, Canterbury, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a historic reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Wellington Land District—Chatham Island District—J. M. Barker (Hapupu) Historic Reserve

30.1055 hectares, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 53087 and Section 1, Block VIII, Rekohu Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1988, page 2166. S.O. Plan 34497.

Classification of Reserve and Appointment of the Grey District Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, West Coast Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose reserve (hall site) and further, appoints The Grey District Council to control and manage the reserve for that purpose.

Westland Land District—Grey District

2920 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. 11471, situated in Block III, Waimea Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1990, page 2314.

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the General Manager, Iwi Transition Agency, hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1990, No. 15.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Pursuant to section 439A of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a village site.
