Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall Vest in The Dunedin City Council in Fee Simple and How the Value Thereof Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land shall vest in The Dunedin City Council in fee simple provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the said land is paid by council into its reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

789 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 8859, situated in Block I, Otakia Survey District. New Zealand Gazette, 1956, page 371.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in the Whakatane District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, and Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation hereby cancels the appointment of the Whakatane District Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further vests the said reserve in the Whakatane District Council, in trust, as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the said Act.
