Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Senior Property Officer, Department of Survey and Land Information, Nelson, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedules hereto is hereby acquired for river control purposes and shall vest in The Nelson Marlborough Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.
