Declaring Land Acquired for Road in the District of Wanganui

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wanganui, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway 4 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Far North District Council to reclaim an area totalling 1060 square metres of seabed of Mangonui Harbour as shown on Plan S.O. 65020, and as more particularly described in the Schedule below.

Schedule

All that land situated in V Mangonui Survey District, Mangonui Harbour as shown marked ‘A’ comprising 390 square metres and area ‘B’ comprising 670 square metres on Plan S.O. 65020 and totalling 1060 square metres.
