The Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1990

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa District) Notice No. 1, 1990.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 2, 1977, dated on the 30th day of June 1977*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, is revoked.

First Schedule

Situated within Waipa District at Pirongia.

Baffin Street: from McClure Street to the eastern bank of the Waipa River.

Beechy Street: from a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said street from McClure Street to Franklin Street.

Belcher Street.

Bellot Street.

Crozier Street: from a point 100 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said street from McClure Street to Parry Street.

Franklin Road: from Kane Street to Baffin Street.

Kane Street: from Franklin Street to McClure Street.

McClure Street: from Kane Street to Baffin Street.

Parry Street.

Ross Street.

Approval of Course in Map Reading

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (a) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and pursuant to a delegation given by the Secretary for Transport in an instrument dated the 14th day of November 1989, I, Robert Albert Gibson, National Co-ordinator Driver Licensing, hereby approve the following organisation to conduct courses in map reading for the purposes of regulation 11 (1) (c) of the Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulations 1987:

Passrite Driving Academy, Royal Oak.
