Charitable Trust Act Notices
Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
Notice is hereby given that Cedric Owen Jordan of Auckland, solicitor, as surviving trustee of the will of Ruby Florence Dillon of Remuera, Auckland, nurse, deceased, has filed in the High Court at Wellington, an application for approval of a scheme. The proposed scheme after providing for payment of certain bequests will allow the balance of the estate of the deceased to be divided into 2 equal parts and applied as follows:
(a) One such part to be divided equally between Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Auckland and the Archdiocese of Wellington for the care of orphaned, neglected or destitute children in New Zealand.
(b) The other such part to be paid to the Roman catholic bishops of New Zealand for the education and training of candidates for the priesthood at the National Seminary at Mosgiel.
Copies of the scheme and the report on it by the Attorney-General may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, or at the offices of Shanahan Partners, Solicitors, Dalmuir House, 114 The Terrace, Wellington.
The application has been set down for hearing in the High Court at Wellington on the 15th day of August 1990.
Any person wanting to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of his or her intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, and to the Public Trust Office at Wellington, and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before that date.

Notice of Application for Approval of a Scheme under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
Notice is hereby given that John Gibson French of Invercargill, solicitor, and Neil Lester Wyeth of Invercargill, chartered accountant, as trustees of the will of Cornelius Harry Butler, late of Royal Bush, near Invercargill, farmer, deceased, have filed in the office of the High Court at Invercargill, an application for approval of a scheme varying the terms of the will under which the C H Butler Estate Trust Fund is held.
Under the will (as varied by a Court order made on the 21st day of February 1930) the C H Butler Estate Trust Fund is held by the trustees to be applied by them in or towards the cost of erecting, equipping, furnishing, maintaining and repairing the Royal Bush Anglican Church.
The Royal Bush Church which is part of the parish of All Saints Gladstone is no longer used. Services have not been held there since 1979.
Under the scheme now proposed by the trustees, the C H Butler Estate Trust Fund would be held by the trustees and applied by them in or towards the cost of erecting, equipping, furnishing, maintaining and repairing any Anglican church (and its surroundings including the parish hall) within the parish of All Saints Gladstone.
Copies of the scheme and the report of the Attorney-General thereon, may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Registrar of the High Court at Invercargill or at the offices of French Burt Partners, Helmsdale Chambers, 110 Don Street, Invercargill.
The application has been set down for hearing in the High Court at Invercargill on Monday, the 27th day of August 1990 at 10 a.m.
Any person desiring to oppose this scheme is hereby required to give notice of his or her intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Invercargill and to the said trustees John Gibson French and Neil Lester Wyeth at the offices of French Burt Partners, Helmsdale Chambers, 110 Don Street, Invercargill and the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before the above mentioned date.
