Charitable Trust Act Notices
The New Zealand Institute of Mental Retardation (Incorporated)
Pursuant to Section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957
Take notice that on the 30th day of July 1990 at 10 a.m., the trustees of The New Zealand Institute of Mental Retardation (Incorporated) will apply to the High Court at Wellington for approval of a scheme widening the charitable purposes of the trust.
It is considered that at present the existing trust deed is inadequate to meet the present needs of the trust, both practical and administrative.
The major changes to be made to the deed are in respect of the following:
(a) The range of appointing organisations.
(b) The procedure for the appointment of trustees.
(c) The term of appointment of trustees.
(d) The specific powers given to trustees.
Any person desiring to oppose this scheme is required to give written notice of objection to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, to the trustees and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before the hearing date set out above.
The address for service of the trustees is at the offices of Buddle Findlay, Solicitors, Level 17, BNZ Centre, 1 Willis Street (P.O. Box 2694, DX 8002), Wellington.

The Sutherland Self Help Trust Board
Pursuant to Section 36 of the Charitable Trust Act 1957
Take notice that on the 30th day of July 1990 at 10 a.m., The Sutherland Self Help Trust Board will apply to the High Court at Wellington for approval of a scheme to vary the mode of administering the trust.
It is considered that the proposed amendment to the trust deed will facilitate the carrying out of the trust and the intentions of the settlers of the trust. The major change to be made to the trust deed is the replacement of Self Help Limited as an appointor of a trustee to the trust with Sutherland Self Help Trust Appointments Limited. Sutherland Self Help Trust Appointments Limited is a special company formed for this purpose, the directors and secretary of which, will all be members of the Sutherland family.
Any person desiring to oppose this scheme is required to give written notice of the objection to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, to the trustees and to the Attorney-General, not less than 7 clear days before the hearing date set out above.
The address for service of the trustees is at the offices of Buddle Findlay, Solicitors, Level 17, BNZ Centre, 1 Willis Street (P.O. Box 2694, DX 8002), Wellington.
