Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the Gazette.

Pursuant to section 3 (4) of the Airport Authorities Act 1966, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 23rd day of August 1961 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 31 August 1961, No. 55, consenting to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome in Block III, Waitaki Survey District as to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Schedule

All that parcel of land containing 14.7430 hectares, or thereabouts, being part Reserve No. 2697 and part of the Waihao Riverbed, situated in Block III, Waitaki Survey District, being part of the land in land transfer Plan No. 51541 and part of the land comprised and described in Proclamation 609645 (Canterbury Registry).
