Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979
North Island Raspberry Marketing Committee Elections (No. 4909)
Pursuant to regulation 15 (4) of the Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1979, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of four producers’ representatives to the North Island Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz.:
Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, Te Kuiti, Tauranga, Whakatane, Te Awamutu, Matamata, Hastings, Masterton, New Plymouth, Hawera, Stratford, Palmerston North, Levin, Wanganui and Marton.
The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 1st June 1989.

Broadcasting Act 1976
Direction to the Broadcasting Tribunal in Relation to the Consideration of Applications for Amendments to Warrants under the Broadcasting Act 1976
To the Broadcasting Tribunal:
Whereas by direction dated the 12th day of April 1989 and published in the Gazette of 20 April 1989 I gave you notice of aspects of the general policy of the Government in relation to broadcasting:
And whereas pursuant to that policy I directed that you shall hear and determine certain applications for warrants and short term broadcasting authorisations under that Act:
And whereas the Government considers it desirable that certain applications for amendments to warrants be accepted, heard and determined:
Now therefore I, Jonathan Lucas Hunt, Minister of Broadcasting, acting pursuant to section 68 (1) of the Broadcasting Act 1976, in pursuance of the policy of the Government in relation to broadcasting set out in the direction dated the 12th day of April 1989, direct that you shall, in addition to accepting, hearing and determining applications pursuant to that direction, hear and determine applications for amendments to broadcasting warrants that you consider, having regard to all the circumstances of the application, and having regard to paragraph (1) (b) of the direction dated the 12th day of April 1989, should be heard and determined, with a view to determining such applications as soon as is practicable consistent with your statutory responsibilities.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
I, Philip Tosswill Edmond Woollaston, Minister of Conservation, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby give approval to Chapter 30 of the Manukau City Consolidated Bylaw 1989 adopted on 24 November 1988 and confirmed on 26 January 1989 by ordinary meetings of the Council, and approved by the Minister of Transport on 7 February 1989.

I, Philip Tosswill Edmond Woollaston, Minister of Conservation, pursuant to sections 8A (8) and 165 (9) of the Harbours Act 1950 hereby give approval to the Rotorua District Lake Waters Control Bylaw 1984, Amendment No. 1 1989 adopted on 28 February 1989 and confirmed on 20 April 1989 by ordinary meetings of the council, and approved by the Minister of Transport on 2 May 1989.
