Notice of Intention to Apply for Ministerial Approval of Code of Practice Under the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981
Pursuant to section 51 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981, I, Geoffrey Eric Wilson, the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories of the Department of Labour, hereby give notice of my intention, after 1 month from the publication of this notice, to apply to the Minister of Labour for his approval of the Code of Practice for the Prevention of Sulphur Fires and Explosions.

Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Union/ Employers Organisation for Failure to Deliver Annual Accounts
Pursuant to section 31 (2) of the Labour Relations Act 1987, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Auckland Asbestos Cement and Cellulose Fibre Cement Products Workers Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1892, situated at Auckland, will be cancelled on the expiration of 30 days from the day after the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless a copy of the accounts together with a certificate signed by the Auditor in accordance with section 49 of this Act are forwarded to the Registrar.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the No. 9 District Transport Licensing Authority (J. P. Wollerman), gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will hold a public sitting on the date and at the place and time shown to hear evidence for and against granting them. Hearing to commence on Friday, 16 June 1989 at the Strathallan County Council Conference Room, 20 Elizabeth Street, Timaru at 10.30 a.m.
A09/89/00907 Timaru City Council, corner William and High Streets, Timaru. Application to amend Passenger Service Licence No. 20049 as follows:
North/Hassall: 7.38 a.m. and 5.37 p.m. services and all services (Monday–Friday) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to be combined with King/Bowoker services (licence No. 07171/02).
Balance North/Hassall Timetable:
(a) The deletion of the 10.15 a.m., 1.05 p.m., 2.20 p.m. and 3.40 p.m. services from the timetable.
(b) The addition of a further peak time service at 4.05 p.m.
(c) The amendment of a peak time service from 4.20 p.m. to 4.37 p.m.

The outward route being via Church Street, Preston Street, Waititi Road, Morgans Road, Benmore Street, MacAuley Street, Poplar Street returning via Gleniti Road, Wai-iti Road, Miro Street, Pukatea Street, Puriri Street, Matai Crescent, Chataucr Street, Otipua Road, Church Street to City.
(b) 12.05 p.m. service to be extended to Gleniti travelling the same route as in part (a).
(c) The addition of a further peak time service at 4.05 p.m.
