with and deemed part of this order constituting the Pouto Rural Fire District Order 1976 made on the 20th day of December 1976 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  1. (2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking clause 6 of the principal order and substituting the following clause:

"6. (1) The District shall be administered for the purposes of the Act by a rural fire committee known as the Pouto Rural Fire Committee.

(2) The Pouto Rural Fire Committee shall consist of six members as follows:

(a) One person appointed by Pouto Forests Farms Limited by writing signed on behalf of that Company by one director and one secretary thereof;

(b) One person appointed by Tai Tokerau Forests Limited by writing signed on behalf of that Company by one director and one secretary thereof;

(c) Two persons appointed by New Zealand Timberlands Limited by writing signed on behalf of that Company by one director and one secretary thereof;

(d) One person appointed by Land Corporation Limited by writing signed on behalf of that Company by one director and one secretary thereof;

(e) One person appointed by the Director-General of Conservation;

(f) Two persons residing within the District and appointed by the Hobson County Council.

(3) This clause shall be read together with and be deemed part of the principal order".
