Conservation Act 1987

Vesting of a Reserve in the Auckland City Council—Auckland Customshouse Historic Reserve

The Minister of Conservation hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto in the Auckland City Council in trust, for the purposes of an historic reserve.

1324 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 105830, situated in Block VII, Rangitoto Survey District. All certificate of title 58C/810. Subject to an electricity easement created by B. 162414.2. Subject to a memorandum of lease over part created by B. 000208.2.

In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 March 1988, No. 47, page 1024; in the fifth line of the Schedule for “263 square metres” read as “362 square metres” and the sixth line of the Schedule for “D.P. 6” read as “D.P. 8”.

Classification of Parts of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager for the Waikato Region of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies those parts of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said reserves subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Nelson/Marlborough Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977 and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Okiwa Bay Scenic Reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Northern Regional Manager, Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Rodney County Council on the 26th day of May 1988:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 14 and 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves that a piece of land held by the Council in fee simple and described as Lot 14, D.P. 48576, situated in Tapu Road, Huapai, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, vested as a reserve and classified as a recreation reserve and be part of the reserve known as the Huapai Reserve.”

2.4382 hectares, more or less, being Lot 14, D.P. 48576, situated in Block VII, Kumeu Survey District. All certificate of title 16B/1365. Subject to a building line restriction created by K. 82175.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director, Recreation, Tourism and Historic Resources of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Tokoroa Borough Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine.
